About this position     To improve the fraud risk management system of AS "4finance" and its associates Analyse AS "4finance" and its related companies data, by grouping and analysing the fraudulent cases Align and put forward proposals for improvements in the quality of public data in IT systems, in order to make a qualitative analysis of the data Analyse the lending process and provide suggestions on how to reduce the proportion of fraudulent transactions. Analyse, process and integrate the information obtained from the use of economic, statistical and econometric methods in research Prepare monthly and ad-hoc reports to stake holders Requirements Higher education in economics / finance / mathematics At least 2 years of experience in similar analytical role Highly developed logical thinking and analytical skills Pro-actively communicate with business stakeholders Ability to plan and organize the work independently Ability to excel in a fast-paced work environment Exceptional computer skills, especially Microsoft Office applications Very good knowledge of Latvian and English.

Main responsibilities Development of risk assessment models using various statistical techniques, data gathering and preparation, model development and validation, including peer model reviews, practical application of models etc.  Regular monitoring of model performance and effectiveness  Redevelopment and recalibration of existing models  Improvement of existing modeling techniques  Documentation of modeling process and results Communication with involved parties, including coordination of the specific Data Science initiatives and active involvement in their implementation.
