About You First and foremost, you have a positive attitude & aptitude to learn and execute quickly. You get things done and done well. Have excellent verbal and written communication skills. 8 years’ experience working with Java. You have 5+ years of experience building distributed systems or at least a M.S. in Computer Science or related field. It would be a plus if you have experience with: <span< span="">Network / Application Performance Monitoring, Server / Container monitoring <span< span="">J2EE, Micro services, Databases  <span< span="">Machine learning and analytics <span< span="">SDN, Network protocols, Network Proxies, Firewalls, and Load Balancers <span< span="">Python, Scripting, Docker <span< span="">Experience in Scaling distributed applications <span< span=""> About the Role We are launching a new product in a highly competitive market, and we want to win. We are building a network visibility offering for modern Applications and Infrastructures (Micro services, Containers, VM's, Clusters, Middleware etc.) that integrates with the rest of the AppDynamics suite, and provides new capabilities for monitoring and analytics. The product will focus on helping the AppDynamics customers get visibility into the Network issues impacting the application and provide aids to monitor, diagnose and isolate end-to-end Application problems. Your role is to make that happen. This will consist of working on scalability and reliability, building horizontally scalable micro services, plugins for monitoring various infrastructure components, automated root cause analysis and analytics. You will have to wear multiple hats: customer, architect, developer, tester, and operations. You will listen to customer interactions and help define the product vision and then implement that vision.
